Dr. Keonna Farmer
Board Chair
Keonna Farmer is an award-winning sports executive, former athlete, Athletic Director, Commissioner, and sports philanthropist committed to transforming the future of athletics through leadership, mentorship, strategic athlete development, and philanthropy. Commissioner and founder of Farmer Sports Management, Keonna has built a reputation for creating pathways that empower athletes, women, and emerging leaders to maximize their influence, opportunities, and impact both on and off the field. Her work helps athletes lead with purpose, expand their reach, and position themselves to lead, play, and create impact globally. Keonna’s impact has been recognized through several civic honors, including receiving the Key to the City of Center Point, the declaration of Keonna Farmer Day on September 17, and Girl Life Unlimited Day on June 17. These honors reflect her commitment to using sports, leadership, and philanthropy as vehicles for visibility, access, community development, and long-term impact. Through Girl Life Unlimited, founded by Keonna, she extends that mission by equipping girls and young women with leadership development, mentorship, confidence-building experiences, and access to opportunities that help them own the rights to their dreams. Through her work across sports, education, philanthropy, leadership development, and community impact, Keonna has served more than 1,000 athletes, students, girls, women, and emerging leaders, creating access, visibility, and opportunities that extend far beyond the game. Across sports administration, athlete development, women’s leadership, and sports philanthropy, she continues to build platforms that strengthen communities and expand what is possible for athletes and emerging leaders.
